COPD CLINIC

We start with a full check-up and then create a treatment plan just for you. This helps reduce flare-ups and keeps your symptoms under control, so you can live your life more comfortably. 

At your first visit to the COPD Care Clinic, you will meet with our medical assistant, respiratory therapist, and one of our healthcare providers. 

During this visit, we will:

• Talk with you about what COPD is and how it can be treated. 
• Review your medical history. 
• Teach you how to use your inhalers properly. 
• Do a breathing test called spirometry to check how severe your COPD is. 
• Go over a COPD checklist and give you a personalized COPD plan to take home.

This visit helps us understand your condition and create the best treatment plan for you.

We believe that patient education is important for maintaining good health. That's why we provide a variety of resources to help you stay informed about your health and make informed decisions.

We understand the urgency and accommodate special appointments separately for COPD patients to fulfill their needs. It may take more than one visit to cover everything on the checklist and not every patient needs everything on the list.
